3 Act Structure

 

Act 1 comprises the first quater of the screenplay.

Act 2 comprises the next two quaters of the film.

Act 3 comprises the final quater of the film.

 

It would seem that in the three act structure there will be some kind of incident/conflcit in the first part of the film then act two involves with the confrontation of the incident which then leads to the climax. Act three deals with the resultion.
