Location Plan.
Belmont Woods
The woods in belmont have a lot of space within the trees so fiming the actors run was not as difficult as I thought. There is also a foot path in the middle of the woods which proved to be very helpful for the point of view shots. Belmont woods is also right next to a main road which was convienant for when Lucy emerged from the woods and suddenly got hit by a car.
Home Scene
I chose to film the home scenes in my own house for many reasons.
- It's my own home, so I'd have a better perspective of what shots were possible and which were not
- All the equipment was already there
-My kitchen and especially my room were adequate to film in. For example, Lucy is a 17 year old girl and my room is pink and very girly.
School Scene
I am a student at Greenshaw Sixth Form so finding a location to shoot the school scenes wasn't really that much of a problem. The school corridors are decorated with work and look like a school.
Hospital Scene
At first I worried where I would shoot my hospital scene as I thought it was unlikley I'd be able to shoot in a real hospital. Luckily, there is a well equipped medical room at Greenshaw school. I feel that by the shots I used it could be seen as a small private room in a hospital.
